Activities for Children and Adults

Bethany House at Northview Heights sponsors events for children, Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  Activities include recreational games, computer workshops adn breakfast and lunch meals.

Vacation Bible School at the Church of our Saviour, Northview Heights, July 7-11 and 14-18 (two weeks) Monday - Friday, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Classes for age levels:  Pre-School, Primary, Junior, Teen and Adult plus music, crafts, games and food.

Street Coffee and Conversation at Eighth Avenue Place, Homestead, Monday - Saturday, 6:00 a.m. - Noon, plus Praise adn Prayer in the Park, times to be announced.

Summer Program for Children conducted by the Methodist Union of Social Agencies (MUSA), beginning June 15, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  Further information at 412-461-1800.

Northside Congregate Feeding Program, New Hope UM Church, W. North Avenue, Pittsburgh, Tuesday and Thursday at Noon; Sunday at 4:00 p.m.

A Winner in You, Etiquette Program for Youth, Friday Evenings, 6:00-6:45 p.m. and Friday Night Flight, Bible Study for Adults, Youth and Children, 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the New Hope UM Church, W. North Avenue, Pittsburgh; sponsored by New Dawn Outreach Ministries in collaboration with New Hope UM Church and the UM Church Union.
